Dr. Carlos Almonte García

Dr. Carlos Almonte is the Medical Director of HEMA and a specialist in thoracic surgery. He has extensive experience in the management of lung cancer, mediastinal tumors, and pleural diseases, using minimally invasive surgical techniques.

Throughout his career, he has worked at renowned hospitals in Spain, including Gregorio Marañón University General Hospital and the Albacete University Hospital Complex. He has advanced training in thoracic oncology and specialized diagnostic procedures, supported by leading European academic programs. He has also contributed to numerous scientific publications and participated in international conferences in the field of respiratory medicine.

In his current role as HEMA’s Medical Director, Dr. Almonte leads the development of highly complex medical services with a strong focus on quality, innovation, and patient safety, while maintaining a model of care centered on patients’ overall well-being.
