Dr. Elías Sebelen 

Dr. Elías Sebelén is a distinguished radiologist from Santiago, originally from the historic Los Pepines neighborhood, with a strong academic background and extensive experience in diagnostic imaging, particularly breast imaging.

He completed his primary, secondary, and high school education at Colegio Padre Fortín between 1984 and 1999. He later earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM) in 2006.

From 2010 to 2014, he completed his residency in Medical Imaging and obtained a master’s degree in Radiology. In 2016, he pursued advanced training in Mexico, where he earned a subspecialty qualification in breast imaging and breast intervention, endorsed by the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM).

Dr. Sebelén currently serves as National President of the Dominican Society of Radiology.
