Dra. Carmen María Rodríguez

Dr. Carmen María Rodríguez is a hematologist with national and international training, accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology (MESCyT). She specializes in benign and malignant hematologic disorders in adults, as well as transfusion medicine.

She has experience at leading healthcare institutions in Santiago and the northern region of the Dominican Republic, and is recognized for her commitment to compassionate, high-quality care and a strong dedication to service.

Her academic background includes training in Internal Medicine and Molecular Biology, as well as a master’s degree in Hematology, Blood Banking, and Genetics, providing her with a comprehensive and up-to-date approach to the diagnosis and management of hematologic conditions.

Dr. Rodríguez is an active member of the Dominican Medical Association and the Dominican Society of Hematology. She is currently part of the medical team at HEMA – Hospital Especializado de Medicina Avanzada, where she serves as Coordinator of the Department of Hematology and Hemotherapy.
